On 2nd May 2012 Ethan Hardy Limited ceased trading. This decision came after it's founder, Khalid Al-Khames, successfully sold the company's most profitable platforms to an internet investment company whilst still personally retaining a minority shareholding.

Company History

Founded in early 2009, Ethan Hardy Limited was born with a goal of continuing one man's work further into the business world. The backbone of Ethan Hardy is an aspiring entrepreneur with over 10 years internet and business experience, Khalid Al-Khames. What started as a part time hobby soon became a true love for business and internet.

Ethan Hardy prided itself on being a forefront supplier of quality application and media websites to a wide audience across the globe. In addition to providing fresh content across several websites, Ethan Hardy also operated a web management and search engine optimisation consultancy, delivering bespoke solutions to clients worldwide.

Finally, Ethan Hardy owned and operates a number of prime, generic domain names which were later built into profitable websites or re-sold for profit.

The name Ethan Hardy, translates to Strong and Courageous, two words that represent the company and the founder extremely well. In a saturated and competitive market, Ethan Hardy Limited built on strong foundations and took courageous steps to providing efficient yet affordable solutions to its clients.

The Founder & Managing Director, Khalid Al-Khames

Born in 1987, Khalid Al-Khames was brought up by two loving parents that would often go without to ensure he did not have too. Unfortunately, divorce meant Khalid had to split his time between two homes. The negative impact was turned into a positive as Khalid was able to witness two fantastic individuals, his mother and father, rebuild their lives and provide the driving force for the success of Ethan Hardy Limited.

Aged 16, Khalid attended Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh and graduated with a BSc in Combined Studies, specialising in Marketing and Management. He combined the theory learnt at University with his knowledge of website design to continue building internet solutions for local businesses.

During the summer holidays of 2007, Khalid was working as a door steward in the evenings, whilst spending countless hours at his computer. That year provided a major turning point for Khalid as he was supposed to find a second job, but managed to monetize websites he built and began earning a small income online.

Khalid quickly realised the power of the internet for businesses and spent the summer making money through trial-and-error. Two years later, after endlessly building, monetizing and selling multiple web applications on a part time basis, Khalid decided to form Ethan Hardy Limited as the starting point for a new journey - becoming a full time entrepreneur.
